Donepezil is used to improve cognitive functions in Alzheimer's sufferers.

mmm....Ritalin. I wish I was young enough to take it. Now they have me on some cocktail that includes Straterra.

Assuming you don't mind talking about it (since you brought it up) how's it working for you? I hear it's new. A quick Google search shows patients reporting mixed results.

What's the H for in ADHD?

I bet if we all pooled our prescriptions, we could make a killing on the black market!

There are issues with depression with it. The problem with Ritalin is that in older patients it's a pretty big downer. It will speed you up sooo fast that you hit a wall and stop and fall to the ground...repeatedly. Straterra was supposed to fix that. It went a long way, but it didn't get there. So I had to be on uppers as well.

It's a constant roller coaster in my head...well, like more than normal. On the bright side I can hold a conversation longer.

The H stands for Hyperactivity.

As for pooling prescriptions, I still have a couple bottles of Vicodin left. For emergencies... ;)

That's funny. I had medication for depression and it really affected my concentration and my memory! Seems that bright people aren't supposed to be happy, and vice versa :)

Not only can you hold a conversation but you do technical work too. I dated someone with ADD for a long time and she drove me nuts - absolutely nuts. By contrast, I never woulda guessed you suffered if you hadn't said anything. Hopefully that's a compliment.

well, we haven't spent a lot of time together Marcus. Ask Joe or Tom, they know how bad it can get. Especially in car rides, like 8 hour car rides.
