Double Fired

I got an identical white envelope in the mail today, that I had to sign for. Must be a legal thing. Fire me some more, why don'tcha?!

Seriously though, I don't know who looked happier at the bar last night: those that still have jobs or those that are moving (or have moved) on.

Yeah, I got the whole "certified mail" duplicate a couple days later too. I believe they do it so they have the receipt guaranteeing them you received your layoff papers. So you can't go later and say, "I didn't get them."

It's a nice little kick while you're down, isn't it?

Got them as well and I agree with the doctor - oh, wait - I concure with the Doctor here that it is a nice little kick while you're down. They could of maybe put a note in it explaining why they sent you all the papers that they handed you a day or three before.

I concur! I finally watched Catch Me If You Can today. Nice to see Alias chick, Angel chick and West Wing POTUS all in the same movie.

I just watched Catch Me If You Can a few days ago too. And I definitely concur. With something. Not sure what though. (Yes, the duplicate package is a legal thing.)

(grin) Just gotta jump on the "I love Catch Me If You Can too!" bandwagon. It's #48 on my movie list, in fact.

I surprised myself by liking it. 5 years earlier, Spielberg, Hanks and DiCaprio would have been a recipe for disaster - three of my most-loathed Hollywood personalities EVER. But this was a romp. A riot. A tour de force! Easily Spielberg's best film IMO..
